:: The New Nesiris ::

Three wolves, three pups and one pile of bones rested in the center of a clearing, trees surrounding them in every direction, plus thorns, brambles and other un-passable foilage. The foilage being the only thing stopping the six wolves from escaping and gathering some decent food other than the stray, crippled rabbits that occasionally hopped into their midst.

Well, the foilage and the pups.

If the pups weren't there the three mature wolves, one male and two female, would have made their way fearlessly through the thorn bushes, but for some reason they waited for the pups to grow.

Every wolf was unique in their own seperate ways, that is, not only unique within themselves, but unique throught the whole wolven race.

One, one of the females who was called Safixe, was probably the more normal of the lot, except from the gold tipped ears and tail, and the gold underbelly, that is. She held an air of superiority about her, not looking at anyone else, but was laying with her head up and chest out slightly, paws infront of her, the glare on her face seemed like it was permanently fixed like that.

Well, it was.

The other female went by the name Nightbreeze. She definetly had odd colouring. Green fur covered a fringe like part of her head, her ears, paws and tail tip, whilst the rest of her was a really dark purple, the inside of her ears being black. Around her neck was a collar humans gave to their fighting dogs, black with metal studs on it, she was obviously a wolf who the humans hoped would be a warrior for them.

Well, they were obviously wrong, because if they were right she wouldn't be here.

Nightbreeze sat furthest away from everyone, not wanting anything to do with the rest of the pack or the pups, shrouded in the shadows cast by the trees, darkness in her eyes not caused by the shadows.

The third adult, the male, was grey, a normal colour yes, a normal wolf? Er, no.

The oddity about this wolf, Nightmare, was that he was covered in blood, and this blood continued to pour out of the wounds in his body, yet he didn't reach to lick them, it was almost as if he was used to them.

This was the case.

For as long as anyone could remember Nightmare had been bleeding, this was simply due to the essence of a deity, same with his pups.

Three pups fought, not playfully, in the middle of the three adults, one was a female, the other two male.

The female had red and yellow paws, red and yellow underbelly, underneath the tail was red and yellow and red, yellow and red ear tips, a bit of a yellow and red fringe and a yellow muzzle, all teh rest was black.

In short, the female, Alehi, had traits from her parents, Nightmare and Safixe.

Saquerin, the smaller male, was grey with blood dribbling out of his mouth as he growled and chased his bigger brother, Daquota around Alehi, Daquota was basically pure yellow, his underbelly and fringe being a slightly paler yellow than the rest of his body.

"Ow, ow, ow! Get off of meee! Daaad!" Alehi squealed as Daquota and Saquerin both turned and pounced on her.

Their dad, however, couldn't care less, he merely looked over to them with dark eyes, glaring at them, making it painstakingly obvious that he didn't want to have anything to do with them.

At that very moment in time, another adult male stumbled through the foilage and into the clearing, light grey fur covered in blood from the cuts the thorns had given him. His posture was firmer and stronger than Nightmare, but he was an under-dog to him, the new male was called Smoke.

"Smooke! Get them.. Ow! Off of me!!" Alehi begged as she caught his scent approaching, her left ear being chewed by Daquota whilst her abdomen was being scratched by Saquerin's claws.

Smoke padded slowly over, dropping the limp rabbit which was in his mouth down by Safixe's paws as he did, not surprised by the lack of thank-you he recieved.

Smoke bent down and picked Alehi up by the scruff, a smile on his face as the other two pups snarled and began to attack him, yet they were still small, as long as none of them used their powers against him then he would be fine.

Smoke placed Alehi down and laid next to her when he reached the edge of the clearing opposite Nightbreeze, wanting to be as far away from the purple-furred wolf as possible, then, when he believed everything was safe and when the other two pups gave up trying to get to Alehi, he began to groom her, licking her forehead and back, cleaning off the blood.

Daquota, trying to think of something else to do, turned round and leaped over to Nightbreeze, who glared at him yet knew better than to attack him, so gave him a warning growl, which Daquota totally ignored and sat down infront of her, tail wagging happily as he looked at Nightbreeze.

Safixe shook her head wearily, Nightbreeze was a strong warrior and a bloodthirsty murderer, she had killed so many that she had eventually managed to block out the feeling of guilt, sometimes even enjoying the taste of blood, so Daquota had to watch himself, he may not be able to die but he could be hurt enough by Nightbreeze to make him want to be dead.

However, Safixe didn't care enough about her pup, any of them, to train her vocal cords into releasing a warning howl herself.

The new pack, Aurisen was dead and Nesiris were walking a very fine line, the future didn't rest souly in the paws of the three oddities, the Nights and Safixe, but now in Smoke... and also the pups.

However hated they were.
